The Most Important Love Is the One You Don’t Outsource

For a long time, I believed love had to be proven. I thought it was something you earned, something you waited to be chosen for, something that had to be returned to feel real.

The biggest shift in my life happened when I realised something simple but powerful: I am my whole world. Not in a selfish way, but in a responsible way. I wake up with myself every day. I carry my thoughts. I sit with my fears. I survive my hardest mornings. I am the one building my dreams and living with the consequences of my choices.

So if I don’t love myself, who else?

Self-love isn’t loud or dramatic. It isn’t something you perform for other people. It’s steady and practical. It looks like getting out of bed when you don’t feel like it. It looks like forgiving yourself for yesterday instead of punishing yourself for it. It looks like believing you are still capable even when doubt tries to convince you otherwise.

That’s why this design says “Love You.” Not as a question and not as a hope, but as a declaration. I love me – the imperfect parts, the strong parts, the healing parts, and the parts that are still growing.

Confidence isn’t arrogance. It’s knowing you are allowed to stand firmly in your own worth without shrinking yourself for anyone else.

This isn’t about shouting anything to the world. It’s about wearing a reminder close to your chest, where it actually matters. Because everything you build, everything you survive, and everything you become starts with how you treat yourself.

And I choose love.

“Hey, I want you to pause for a moment. In a world where we’re all chasing paychecks, we miss the love in the small things. Take something as simple as toast- burnt or perfect, if it’s made with love, it’s a gift. Every t-shirt design I’ve created is a little reminder of these overlooked moments -like love in a shared breakfast. I’m writing this because I want you to see that love is everywhere – in tiny gestures, in each other, and yes, even in a t-shirt. We just need to wake up to it.”
